Like a Butterfree to a Carnivine

Its like the old saying "like a moth to a flame."

But instead of fire its a "Sweet scent" that draws this Butterfree unknowingly to the jaws of doom! Carnivine waits for its prey camouflaged in the leafs waiting for its chance to chomp down.
Had a ton of fun drawing this carnivine is one of my fav pokemon. So is butterfree but the idea when i said that old saying couple days ago and was browsing pokemon pics. Carnivine was on display when I said it to my friend. The Background was a pain as i just had a crappy 2D lookin thing then I did a quick vantage sketch to see how trees would sit. Turns out very well to say the very least. Was a lot of effort molding the wood and drawing in bits and pieces.
I may go back and re-do butterfree but atm I'm happy with it! I do feel a little bad for the poor bug.
